Rennie, que se demitiu de sua posição na Juventude Escocesa LGBT depois de sua prisão no ano passado, fez intensa campanha de pressão política no parlamento escocês, e visitou o primeiro ministro da Inglaterra como “o mais importante e influente assessor do Executivo em assuntos gays para políticas envolvendo crianças”, de acordo com o Daily Mail.
Entre outras questões, sob a liderança de Rennie o grupo fez campanha de pressão política para que os casais homossexuais pudessem adotar crianças.
Rennie e o colega ativista homossexual Neil Strachan, que foi condenado por atacar um menino de 18 meses que ele estava tomando conta na véspera de Ano Novo em 2005, está enfrentando sentenças máximas de vida na prisão como líder de uma extensa rede de pedofilia.
Os dois homens trocavam entre si suas vítimas e imagens do abuso com outros seis homens condenados no desmantelamento da rede de pedofilia. O grupo foi condenado na semana passada em mais de 50 acusações, inclusive ataques sexuais a crianças, conspiração para abusar de crianças e posse e distribuição de pornografia infantil.

Parece-me óbvio que a pedofilia e a homossexualidade são patologias intimamente ligadas. Contudo, qualquer alusão a factos sobre esta matéria, não só é politicamente incorrecta, como já existem crimes por delito de opinião em alguns países ocidentais.

These reports are not only absolute bigoted nonsense, but also defamatory lies that extreme right-wing nutcases continue to repeat in order to spread their hatred of gay people. I am a gay adult who finds pedophilia to be criminal and disgusting in every way; furthermore, none of the gay people I know has, or has ever had, anything but contempt and revulsion for pedophilia. Anyone who follows this subject will know that every reputable study ever done on this subject reaches the same conclusion: pedophiles are overwhelmingly heterosexual, not homosexual. Their predilection for young victims has nothing to do with their sexuality and everything to do with their apparent need to abuse someone else, perhaps in retaliation for abuse they received as children. To its enormous discredit, the Vatican has sought to plant this seed of thought in people’s minds, equating gay people with pedophiles, in order to divert attention from the criminal abuse doled out across the world by their own priests whose activities they wish to hide. Dissertations will no doubt be written about the absurd distortive effects on human sexual behavior caused by the Church’s insistence on maintaining the inhumane vow of celibacy. At its root, though, one suspects that this boils down to a simple, yet tragic, example of the vicious cycle of child abuse, coupled with ecclesiastical power: an unconscionable transgression of anything and everything that is Holy. The fact that so many Catholic priests have turned out to be pedophiles, and that many of their victims are of the same sex, is a commentary on the Institution that attracts so many people with this “master-slave” mindset, and the powerlessness of children who are subject to the whims of such a Church, enforced by hierarchical “family values”, the self-loathing and shame inculcated in the child victims by the Church and their families/society, and denial all round. Shame on you for repeating these lies and seeking to incite others to repeat your false and slanderous association of decent, law-abiding gay people with criminal pedophile psychopaths. I see from your side bar that you are also trying to link gay people with bestiality. I wonder if your entire world would come tumbling down if you finally had to come to terms with the fact that gay people are, in fact, human beings just like you – yes, just like you. Just human. How dare you slander and de-humanize me and other gay people with your broad brush of pedophilia accusations when you have never met me or my friends, and if you did, would certainly have no reason to make such a link?

What is worrying from David’s comment is the urgent need to shut up any opposition to gay lifestyle. To achieve such a goal, David is claiming that I am a sort of Adolf Hitler himself resuscitated from the dead. David is using exactly the same political strategy Hitler used before: “demonization” of any voice against what he think is correct. To do so, he engages in a Ad Hominem attack: he says that “I am not right in what I say, either because I am a Nazi, or because I have a big nose”. It is not the arguments that draw David’s attention, rather is the desperate attempt to label a citizen who does not agree with him. This is fascism, a liberal fascism.
When 5% of a entire population (the gay community) produces 30% of the pedophile attacks, David comes here and denounces my alleged stupidity: for David, relative percentages do no matter at all. Therefore, I am Nazi just because I have a brain to compare the statistical figures. The “correct citizen” is the one already subjected to a lobotomy or transformed by a political metanoia.
